REVELS SPECIMEN LAKE

Now the first thing to point out about our specimen lake is that the largest carp are in the main fishery but the fish in this lake average over double figures and as we harvest the small ones we rarely see anything under 8lb in weight the fish then run to 26lb+ Also there are a head of Catfish new record just set at 37lb 15oz and totally home grown. Lake catch record is some 47 fish over a weekend for 670lb in weight.

Now the lake itself covers some 3/4 of an acre but is a very unusal interesting shape and offers weed beds, islands, bays and lilly beds. Andy Little himself fished it a few years ago and remarked "a very interesting water"

This lake is available by booking only and we charge £45.00 for a exclusive booking for the whole lake for a period of 24hours. This is for the lake not per person. Its upto the person booking how many are in the party but we do not recomend more than 3-4 as it does effect the fishing. If you have anyone in your party not into carp then it worth trying silver fish tactics as the odd person that does has seen some monster roach well over 2lb. With all the high protein baits that get fished here its no wonder they grow the weight they do. Also a couple of double figure Pike lurk the water as well.
